Back from Houston

Hi Everyone! A big welcome to all the new readers!

Back From Houston

There is a certain kitty who was very glad to see me when I finally got home from Houston. That same silly kitty is watching me tap the keys as I write this blog post.  Kinda makes it hard to concentrate while he is staring at me!

He knows the quilt with his portrait was a big hit in Houston in my classes and lectures. Speaking of which…

Day 1:  Woke up at oh dark thirty and caught my 2 planes to Houston.  Luggage arrived safely-phew!  Got to the hotel and went to the teacher’s lounge to unpack my supplies and schedule.  I met many wonderful teachers along the way, and the staff was really helpful.

I went for a quick dash around the floor that night and took some pictures. Sometime around 9 pm. I gave a tired presentation at Meet the Teachers.  I’ll admit, it was not my best effort.

Here are some of the wonderful quilts I saw.  My apologies to the makers- I did not take pics of the title cards.  I will try to remember when and where I can.
