Fireworks in Boston

My girls and I went to Boston and stayed with my sister and her boyfriend.  My dad was there to take us to the Charles River Sailing Club B-B-Q and fireworks display.

We sat in the boats and listened to the Pops and watched the fireworks.

We  also did some good shopping on Newbury St., strolled through the Boston Commons and I took a ton of pictures.

Oh and of course I bought yarn at Windsor Button shop, which has been there since 1936 or so.  My sister spoiled us all with massages, since she is a massage therapist.  We also made and ate her famous crack brownies!

Also on the must see list was Chihuly glass at the MFA in Boston.

And so a good time was had by all.  Many more pictures to come!  Stay tuned….

  1. We love watching the Boston fireworks on TV…it must have been great to be there in person! And I can never get enough of Chihuly. Sounds like a great weekend to me.

    1. Yeah it was beautiful, although it didn’t start until 10:30, which was a bore. We were there 6 days.
