How I spent my Christmas

Please click on the title to read the full post.

Hi Everyone! A big welcome to all the new readers!

This is how I spent my Christmas.  My youngest daughter is in a boarding school in Asheville, NC this year.  So I drove all the way to see her.  It rained.  A lot.  But when I got there, it was all worth it.  Here is a wide view of the school and the mountains.

She showed me all her animal friends:

Ruby Sue, the miniature pot belly pig, was there too, but she didn’t want to have her picture taken!

Then we went downtown for shopping and lunch.

On Christmas morning we went to Waffle House for a little local color and a redneck brunch, then later took in a movie.  So it was not a typical Christmas at all, but we loved our time together.  How was your Holiday?

The winner of the contest for the free spot was lucky Linda Williams.  Congratulations Linda!!  ( Winner was picked randomly).

Here are her entries:

There’s still a bit of time to climb aboard this train, but as you can see, time is running out.  For all you last minute people, remember nothing happens in life until you make a decision, and take ACTION!!

So if you have been on the fence, I have 100% money back guarantee if you do the work, and still aren’t happy with your results.

And if money is tight, you can spread your payments out into 3 payments of $150.  Just email me, and I will help you do that.

If you are waiting for a better time, just ask yourself if you find yourself waiting for a better time to do other things you want to do.  Don’t let that stop you this time!

Why am I offering this class?

Because, I believe in making  fiber art from your heart- not just copying other people’s patterns.  You have the potential to make something uniquely yours.  But we stop ourselves, because:

• we don’t think we’re good enough, lack the confidence

• we don’t have the skills yet

• think we’re not “creative”

• you fill in your reason/excuse here 🙂

In this class, we will be working together as a group.  We will learn the ins and outs of designing an art quilt top from start to finish.  We will have specific directions on HOW to construct your piece, if you’re not sure.

This class is for you if:

• you want to make beautiful art quilts, but you don’t know where to begin

• you talk yourself out of trying, because you don’t think you’re “artistic”

• you want the support of a group

• you think to yourself, I’ll do this someday, when I’m ready (that day never comes)

• you want help with composition, color, design, while you are working on a piece you’ve always wanted to make

If you know you could benefit from a small online class like this, please go to: DESIGN YOUR DREAM ART QUILT  to register.

The Needle Felting Flower video IS ready.  So if you haven’t seen it and want to get your free pattern- just email me and I’ll send it your way.  See below.
