Huge showing of my textile art at Tuxedo Junction opens tomorrow! 6-8 pm.

Plus, I have been playing around in the studio with different kinds of resists.  A resist is something you apply to fabric to block paint or dye.  You can use brushes or stamps, or anything that will make a mark.  Earlier I tried potato spuds resist with some success, but discovered not to make the paint too thick or it makes the resist hard to remove!  Still trying to remove those spuds with paint on them.  But got some cool crackle effects.  Today I am trying corn dextrin- we shall see.  Ultimately, I’m trying for some new techniques to incorporate into my Masterworks piece for the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild.
