I’ve Been Told I’m a Tease..

Hi Everyone! A big welcome to all the new readers!

No not the cat, me!  Well actually Huey is a tease too…(you can see the quilting progress on his portrait by scrolling down).

The crisper air means change is coming.  Fall is here!  To celebrate I’m making a fabulous, FREE new video training series! But it’s not ready yet, so I’m teasing you and making you wait a little bit longer!

In this series, I am going to help you understand in detail the 3 most common problems quilters have, and how to get around those problems!

You see, I don’t actually come from a quilting background.  Shhhhhh!  Don’t tell anyone.

But, you know,  that gives me a unique advantage when it comes to helping you make original  quilts.  Because I have an extensive design background, I can coach you to focus on the underlying design of any quilt.  Good design can  really make a quilt.  And lackluster design, not so much.

How often have you stared at your quilt and wondered why it wasn’t exciting you? Maybe, you got half way through a project and abandoned it, because you hated it.  Or perhaps you haven’t even thought you could make an original quilt design.  What if you could, and not only that, but you knew why things work or don’t work on your design wall?

I want you to have that confidence and working knowledge of design so that all your quilts come out looking like you intended.  So if that sounds good to you, stay tuned and I’ll send you the link to the first video soon….

But this Needle Felting Flower video IS ready.  So if you haven’t seen it and want to get your free pattern- just email me and I’ll send it your way.  See below.

The new video tutorial for the Needle Felted Flower pattern is finally up!  If you are already a subscriber and don’t want to subscribe again just to get the video and project–just let me know, and I will send you the  YOUTUBE link and pattern. This is an exclusive gift for subscribers only, so I want to make sure if you want it, you can still get it.

  1. Loved reading your blog. I saw you are a Bernina ambassador ! I have an old Bernina record and love it. I Baby it because I’m so afraid of it going down and won’t have a machine to work on. I had an old Pfaff but lost it when my ex made me pawn it and was at a thrift store one day and saw my machine on a bottom cabinet (in Ft. Worth, Tx) for 19.95 ! I ask the clerk if that was the right price and she said yes so I bought it along with it’s case and a box full of feet. I had to spend $140 to get it fixed but it was so worth it. the guy was as excited as I was and exclaimed “do you know what you have here” when he handed me the box of feet. He said it was about $200 worth just for the extra feet ! I ultimately would love a new machine but do love my old sweet machine ! Thank you for teaching others and helping us with our quilting woes ! Blessings to you !
