I talked to the Knitting Divas!

Hi Everyone! A big welcome to all the new readers!  What’s new?

I got to go to Western North Carolina over the weekend to give a talk at the Knitting Diva, and to Appalachian State for my daughter’s orientation.  The audience was very attentive, and of course I bought some yummy yarn for my knitting stash.  We had gorgeous sunny, dry weather and as you will see in this gallery, all the rhodies were in bloom.  These trees were taller than I am in some cases.  I was in heaven!

Oh, and the funniest thing happened while we were standing in line waiting for a decadent dessert at the French Broad Chocolate Factory, in Asheville.  Two ladies behind us starting talking about quilting.  “Did you say quilting?, ” I said.  And the quilting chocoholics had a quilty conversation while waiting.

What’s on tap for this weekend?  Glad you asked.  At the risk of sounding like a broken record, don’t forget to sign up for the next Sunday Art Quilting Salon.  Space is limited!  Only 6 spots left!  This is a great way to get some on- the- spot coaching from moi- The Art Quilter’s Coach.  Read more about it below….

However, I felt a connection to you when Leigh showed me your work. It resonated with me and when I met you, you seemed almost a personification of your work. I immediately felt comfortable with you and knew that what you would create would be stunning. And it is!” About Roxane
