LATEST NEWS: On Easter Sunday, my daughter and I went to Duke Gardens and took in all the tulips. Since, it’s far too nice to be inside writing, I’m just going to post some yummy eye candy from our trip. I hope your Easter was as fun as ours was!
How is the tulip piece coming?
Inspired by all those beautiful tulips, I’ve been thread sketching on the tulip piece madly. Here’s one of them:
I know it doesn’t look very tulip like, but it was the colors and textures I was going for in an impressionistic way (read- looking at them without my glasses at a distance). What are you cooking up in your studio these days?
