Teaching in Chapel Hill

I can’t believe it’s November!  This month I will be traveling to Asheville, NC for a conference, and selling my work at the Piedmont Craftsmen show all in the same week!  It will be hectic, but fun.  I hope  if you are in Winston-Salem, you will make it to the show and say hi.  Of course, bring your Holiday list for one of a kind gifts from my studio!  If you can’t make it, you can always buy online:

Just hop on over to the website, I accept all credit cards through Paypal. www.roxanelessa.com

On Saturday I had the privilege of teaching 7 fine ladies at the Thimble Pleasures Bernina in Chapel Hill.  They came ready to work hard and let me tell you, they did amazingly well!  We did fused applique, and then used textile paint to enhance for depth and realism.  Not everyone finished, but they all did so well, I know they will finish on their own.  Am I right ladies?  But don’t believe me, check it out for yourself in this gallery of snaps I took at the end of class.  Just click on each thumbnail for a larger view.  I just know I am forgetting someone’s work, and I apologize for that.  I don’t think I got a picture of that person’s- my bad.

Next month!  Come see my new booth, new work and beautiful gifts at all price points at the Piedmont Craftsmen’s Show.
